Hello Friends, In this blog, I talk about Minar e Pakistan. Minar e Pakistan is a historic Monument located in Lahore Pakistan. It was built to commemorate the Lahore resolution of 1940. Which called for the creation of a separate Homeland for Muslims in British India. The Monument's construction began in 1960 and was completed in 1968. Pakistan stands in Iqbal Park. Which is named after Allama Muhammad Iqbal. A prominent philosopher poet and one of the driving forces behind the idea of a separate Muslim state. The tower design combines modern and Mughal architectural elements featuring a blend of red brick and marble the height of Menara Pakistan is approximately 70 meters 230 feet, and It consists of a base a central shaft and a gallery at the top. The base of the monument contains inscriptions detailing the events and leaders associated with the Lahore Resolution visitors can climb the stairs to reach the gallery.
